This is yet another article reviewing Hillary Clinton’s proposed Health Care Plan. We are still on the title page where we see that she has cleverly proposed that Americans can keep their current plan if they are happy with it. Or, Americans can “Choose from the same Quality Private Health Care options that members of Congress enjoy”. Or finally, Americans can “Choose a Quality Public Plan Option Similar to Medicare”. I have no doubt that many Americans will read these options and think this sounds great.
I have been looking for a word to accurately describe what is going on here and the best one that has come to mind is the word “obfuscate”. Webster’s definition of this word is “to cloud over, obscure, make dark or unclear, to muddle, confuse or bewilder”. Frankly I think that Hillary Clinton is a master of obfuscation as witnessed in the above options. She wants to be gracious and allow us to keep a plan, knowing full well that if the government is going to pay for another plan, no one, and I mean NO ONE is going to pay for a health care plan out of their pocket.
The option suggesting we can enjoy a plan similar to the one provided for Congress is my “favorite”. Does anyone know what the Congress plan is? I would imagine they are provided 100% coverage and we, the tax payers, pay 100% of the costs. This plan is not going to happen.
Then there is the third option of a quality “Public Plan Option” similar to Medicare. Does she not know that Medicare is already out sourcing Medicare coverage for senior citizens? Even Medicare knows that private enterprise can do the job better and more efficiently than government. Can everyone see that these wonderful sounding words are nothing more than obfuscation? The bottom line is that she does not really care about our health care needs. She really wants our vote and wants government to control our lives. The next article(s) will continue the review into Hillary’s fantasyland health care plan.
